Yep, there she is, Suri (Miss Heel), playing dress up in silver glitter heels! I think it's adorable; but I'm sure there are others who think it's inappropriate. She's just a 3 year-old little girl having fun, in probably some Disney or Barbie accessories. This does not make Katy a bad mom.

The bigger question is why is Suri's shoe sole flapping???? Other than one of my shoe pet peeves {along with Heels with no caps] what is THAT about????
ReplyDeleteI don't care if she wears heels for dress up but there is no way a child should be doing any long walking, especially on cement, in them. The foot tendons, bones and muscles are far to under developed at that age to handle the stress on an arch. If it's short term, I don't see a problem. But the lack of stability even a small heel provides could lead to ankle and foot issues in the future. PLus, you can see in the upclose shot that she has a band-aid on her heel. Blisters are common at any age but her Mom can't let this become a staple in her footwear.
ReplyDeleteDoesnt look like a bandaid to me look as if there should have been straps on those. As for the shoe flapping glad it was the shoe and not her toes !!
