Dont'cha just luvv being a girl? I do! Every time I walk into anyone of my 3 closets, (yes I have 3 closets; one for clothing, the second for shoes/handbags and the third is for accessories), I get sooo excited! It's like Christmas everyday. And just last night, I thought to myself, what does it mean to really love being a girl-especially a girly girl? The definition will vary from woman to woman, but I compiled a list of three things that I discovered most women enjoy:
- Mimosa's!: Uh...hello, a perfect 2-4-1. Your daily dose of vitamin C and Champagne; really, what more can a girl ask for! When was the last time your man ordered a mimosa? Men rarely (the ones I dated), saunter up to a bar and ask for a mimosa.
- Men!: And speaking of men, whenever 2 or more women gather, inevitably the topic of men will come up. Plus, if the man is really driving the girl nuts, forget the 2 or more theory, she's so loony over him, that she'll talk to herself!
- Manolo's!: Blahnik that is. Whether you can afford them or not, we as women adore beautiful shoes. We are constantly yappin' about shoes! That's why Sex & The City was so popular-women had the perfect combo platter of shoes, sex, men and booze. Maybe they should have just called it, Shoes & Booze!
I'm off to enjoy the weekend (and being a girl), hope you do the same!
What I love most about being a girl are the mimosas... lol! I'm not a play dress up kind of girl. For me, flip-flops, jeans, jeeps and tees border on the line of just call me Sarg! No really, girl talk is what I'm growing to LOOOVE about being a woman. Emotionally we girls run deep. Once we get past the age of nothing interesting to say, women become fascinating. That's why men love a Cougar! A confident, well preserved, classy Cougar! Yep Girl Talk does it for me! That's why I loved that brunch {see your photo} we girls took, it had Girl talk and mimosas! For you, Ms. Heel it also included fashion AND Heels - u must have been in heaven! So with that said, keep up the good convo MS HEEL! ;-)
