I'M 40-NOT 50!

I still rock 5 inch heels, wear mini-skirts and nary a wrinkle or crows foot!!!

This should be against the law! This is an act of domestic terrorism! It's the equivalent of getting some suspicious powder in the mail, i.e., scares the bejeeba's out of ya! I'm not ready for discounts on hotels, car rentals, dentures, auto insurance, a reverse mortage nor early bird dinner specials!

You know what I want right now? I want to have sex with a hot young dude, with a "HUGE EGO" and a great cocktail to sip afterwards! Take that, AARP!

20/20 Vision At the 40/40 Club!

Ok here she is...the woman from another planet, 40-sumthin' Ms. Nicole Murphy! Oh and before I forget, mother of...wait for it-5! I can clearly see, that this is a woman who takes damn good care of herself!

As a card carrying member of the 40/40 club, I am starting to discover so many wonderful things about myself.

1. I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ANYMORE! Meaning,I've spent soo much time worrying what others thought of me, that I realize now, they'll hate you no matter what you do!
2. I AM ALWAYS OVERDRESSED! And I freakin' luv it! Fashion stirs my soul; and I love playing dress up. I can recall my high school boyfriend once telling me, that I don't wear outfits-I wear costumes!
3. SEX IS NOT OVER-RATED!
4. GOOD MEN ARE EASY! Bad men are hard/complicated!
5. YOU'RE NOTHING WITHOUT YOUR HEALTH! Eat right & exercise people!
6. I LOVE MY ONE VICE: Alcohol!
7. MY KIDS HAPPINESS IS NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY OWN! If Mama ain't happy, nobody is happy!
8. WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN P.I. : Our dreams! Write them down daily and believe them!
9. BE CLINT EASTWOOD EVERYDAY: Make someones day!
10. WEAR HEELS-LIFE IS TOO SHORT!

In conclusion, if you're in your twenties or thirties, know this: all that internal chatter WILL calm down, once you hit your 40's! But life is about the journey. So go out tonight, it's Friday. Enjoy true friends, learn those lessons (the first time), put on a 'costume', flirt with men and thoroughly enjoy the pleasures of being a woman!
