As I prepare to walk away from a man that I truly loved, all I keep wondering, is why does it have to hurt soooo bad!?! I can't eat; I can't focus; nor can I stop myself from reaching for something a helluva lot stronger than water-and I'm not talking coffee!
Oh and as sleep escapes me, all I find myself doing, is playing around in my shoe closet. I was up at 3am this morning trying on shoes and imagining what heels I'll be wearing when I meet my next man...it helped (a little), especially since I was fantasizing about a famous Hollywood leading man, sweeping me off my feet in 5 inch heels!
So if any other Ms. Heels' find themselves experiencing heartache this weekend, I recommend that you get a designated driver (maybe that's just me) and play dress up. All the while, fantasizing about Prince Charming finding you. And not because you lost a glass slipper (and he went in search of a perfect size 7), but because he saw you from across the room, in a fab freakin' pair of high-heeled slippers and just had to make you his queen!
