I was riding in my car the other day and heard some lame-ass, ego centric rapper, talking about how he has to have a chick with pretty feet! OMG, this Dude who couldn't string a grammatically correct sentence together to save his life, has the audacity to want the (un) lucky woman in his life to be perfect! Um, excuse me, if he really loved this girl, he'd pay a podiatrist to fix her feet! Shut-up or put up!
By the way, what classifies pretty feet? You know what, don't bother answering that asinine question! Because I don't give a damn what a woman's feet looks like. We as women are always being picked apart and being criticized by some uneducated fool with a yuck mouth, with some seedy past!
I don't know about you, but my (wide) feet have been there for me by taking that next step, when I didn't think I could. They've lifted and stood up for me, when I couldn't stand up for myself. They've gotten me through plenty of, on-my-feet, 10 hour work shifts, so I could feed my baby. And they've ran for me, when I needed to escape a terrifying situation.
So the next time you're with a guy and embarrassed to take off your shoes, just remember all that you've endured in your life; and how your calloused, wide, bunioned, dry or corn having feet, have ALWAYS aided you in walking away and on to better situations!
And honey, if Mr. Man has a problem with that, then you and your feet-GET TO STEPPIN'!

FINALLY IT'S FRIDAY...
Life is good...I've been on a high all week-in spirit and in heels.
