Injuring Oneself in Heels...When NOT Wearing Them?!?!

Welcome to another wind down Wednesday!

I've posted in the past, stories written about the injuries and damages heels can cause to your feet. I for one, think life is too short to worry about what may or may NOT happen.

That's why this story about an uber famous singer, being injured by a pair of Jimmy Choo's, while NOT wearing them, totally proves my point. $hit happens everyday people! The lesson we all must learn, is to live each day like it's our last. Put a smile on your face and enjoy every single moment on your job, with your family, with your man and with complete strangers!

Bye, bye now...gotta go make some people happy & make myself happy, by wearing a pair of heels! ;-)

BOO-HOO FOR MS. JIMMY CHOO?

Ms. Tamara Mellon, the 40-somethum, single-mom of a 7 year-old daughter and founder of Jimmy Choo shoes, has what most would call a, "fairy-tale" life. Well...uh, if you consider the sudden death of her father, an almost successful corporate take-over and a lawsuit involving her rumored jealous and fading looks of an aging ex-model for the House of Chanel mother, suing her for millions of mistakenly placed stock, is your idea of a fairy-tale life...then hell yeah! But for those that like less drama filled days and peaceful, loving brunches with Mom on Mother's day-then not so much!

In addition, she's beautiful, rich and her Facebook friends page, reads like a glamorous fashion magazine; filled with the hottest starlets, movie moguls and very rich men! Oh and the men-Christian Slater, Kid Rock and the infamous Joe Francis (yes, the guy who founded Girls Gone Wild) to name a few! Allegedly she's been involved with them all. Ranging from brief flings to an 18-month stint with Mr. Slater.

Thank God she has better taste in shoes than men!

Having said all this-I feel for her. I guess because I can relate to (certain aspects ) of her story. We both adore shoes. And I especially can relate to dating rich, hot, dysfunctional, yet so-damn-wrong-for-you men!

Wanna read more about this Poor Lil' Rich Girl? Then pick up a copy of October's issue of the American edition of Elle Magazine. And then decide if you would trade your "regular" life, to walk a mile in her expensive Jimmy Choo shoes!
