How Long Has It Been Since You've Had Sex?

...Written across your damn shoes!

Happy Friday Ms. Heels! Ok, so this picture of Ashanti at NYFW is a little old, but I could not resist doing a tongue-in-cheek blog about her Louboutin "Sex" pumps. Gives a whole new meaning to the term: 'pumps in da bumps' (for all my hip-hop fans) ;-)

So girls, if you're not actually having sex or going out to get your sexy on tonight, have no fear! Mr. Louboutin has given you the best of both worlds-shoes & sex all in one...who's mad? Not I, said the newly single chick.

Besides, a new study has found that the arch one gets when wearing stilettos, is very similar to the arching of the foot some women do, when having an orgasm! Hence, why we feel so sexy, desirable and a little wanton when rocking a hot ass pair of heels. Just another reason to ALWAYS be a Ms. Heel!

Go get you some...heels that is!

Glitz & Glam...with jeans?

Happy Friday Ms. Heels!

O. M. G., it's been a long a$$ week!

But I just had to blog about MsHeel.com's newest arrival: Riplay's Anne-02 all sequin platform. So hot. So glitzy. So glam. So cheap-only $60!!!

Checkout Beyonce above wearing a $6000 all crystal pair "Daffodil" by Louboutin. Ok, so sequins instead of crystals, but just as sparkly and show-stopping!

I advise any of you who want this heel to not delay-will sell quickly. Plus, this is a heel you just can't beat for the upcoming holiday season.

Have a great weekend!

Friday Fashion Round-Up!

Hello my Friday Nite Freaks (said with love)!
Lets get started and talk about some of the top & probably not so relevant fashion stories of the week:

1. Christian Louboutin is seeing red in more ways than one!!! Mr. Louboutin lost his trademark battle with YSL/Yves St. Laurent. The courts decided that he cannot claim infringement on his signature red soles; In other words, he has no exclusive right to the color red-WTF?! Now yawl know, everybody and their damn Chinese brother, will be knocking that red sole off forEVER! Je suis desole. (copy, paste, Google it) :-(

2. Rachel Zoe vows to never wear sneakers! Ok, I warned ya-not so relevant. But dammit, I couldn't agree more! I ONLY wear sneakers to the gym. And because I'm not to crazy about the gym (arrgh), my sneaker time amounts to about 3 days max per week!

It's heels 24/7 for me. Yes, even then (wink, wink). Hey, haayyy...you do what you do; I'll do what makes me happy. No judgement here, ok?

Off to the shoe show this weekend. No, not the strip club, but an actual shoe trade show-dirty gurl! ;-) On Tuesday I'll have some cool pics of upcoming heels to share....stay tuned!

With love,
Ms. Hill

How Many Is Too Many?

Well hello there, glad to have you back!

Ok, so the proverbial question is, can you really have too much of good thang? No not that (Superfreak)...we're talking shoes. ;-) Exactly when is too many, well...too many?

Above are the designer heeled closets of Kimora Lee Simmons and Mariah Carey. Now my closet looks nothing like these, but give me time! They say the average woman over her lifetime will spend $25,000 on shoes. I think that number will be revisited because of how expensive shoes have gotten lately and with women whom only wear Christian Louboutins!

Check out this video below of Beth Shak professional poker player, who owns over 1200 pairs of shoes in which 700 of them are by the aforementioned designer. I. Am. Not. Mad!

1200 pairs of heels video?!?!

Mama Got A Brand New Gig!

TGIF!!!

Congrats to Ms. (i-love-5 inch-heels) Ann Curry! She's now the newest co-host on the Today Show.

There's nothing like having a dream and finally seeing it come to fruition. But who knew that Ann had a high heel fetish? That's right, ol' girl likes her some Christian Louboutin 5 inch heels!

Check out the wonderful video below, showing Ann in her "first day of work" heels and describing so beautifully her dream.

Most of all, here's to all the recent college graduates out there, who are in search of their first day of work outfits and heels-I wish you all the best and happy shoe shopping...don't forget to check out our selection of heels! ;-)

Have a great weekend!

The Airport Look Of The Day:

Welcome To (Ladies Nite edition) Wednesday!

How many times, must I repeat myself? Airports are the perfect place to strut your stuff, pick up men and show off your clothing. It's your own personal runway...take advantage people!

Just look at Mrs. Djimon Hounsou, looking fab in a simple pair of skinny leg jeans, awesome spiked Christian Louboutin heels, great bag and a leather jacket. So simple, yet chic!

Why do so many of you, look as if you just rolled outta bed and can't wait to recline those filthy airline seats and get a few more hours of sleep in? If you're over 21, it's so time to dress the part of a young woman and the leave the sleepwear where it belongs-in the privacy of your home.

Gosh, I need a drink...till tomorrow my friends,
Ms. Hill

I Luv A Good Knock-Off!

Welcome to another wild & sexy Wednesday!

Ok by now you should know, I like me some animal print. But what gets me going even more, is saving $!

That's why these "Katelyn" animal print booties by Privileged, has me over the moon and screaming like a wild banshee! Why? Because they're almost an exact replica of Christian Louboutin's booties that the lovely Garcelle Beauvais is wearing above. I know, the crazy carpet is making it almost impossible to see the boot, but what you need to know, is that the Louboutin's cost $1795 and the katelyn's cost $49.95!

My work here is done...getcha some, before all gone!

WET & WILD!

Weady for Wednesday? :)

Here she is Ladies & Gentlemen, the hottest chick in Hollywood-Ms. Halle Berry! Even in rainy NYC, while wearing the hell out of leather leggings, along with her Christian Louboutin knee high boots, the gurl looks GOOD!

Oh how I love to see a grown-ass, fellow 40 somethun' woman, doin the damn thang!

And now I know what my next shopping trip will be about: LEATHER LEGGINGS! Ms. Thang won't be the only one looking good this season!

See ya tomorrow...

TEAM Fakes vs TEAM Copies!

Good Day All,

Lately I've been getting a lot of feedback about the heels we carry. And like any story-there are 2 sides and then there's the truth! The truth in this case is not necessarily the truth-but the neutral merging of both sides (can't we all just get along?). On one side, (working) girls are ecstatic about being able to wear heels that are obvious knock-offs, copies, "inspired by's" of a really expensive heel. Flip that and you have those that are seriously pissed off that their favorite designer is being worn by those, that didn't pony up some of that "old money" or newly earned, McMansion dwelling,"new money" like they did! Women are seriously divided on this issue. Just as they've picked sides in the Team Aniston vs Team Joli drama, emotions are running high (sometimes nasty) and there's no shortage of opinions!

If I may, I will review both sides:

For TEAM Fakes: I will not (personally) buy or sell fake heels! I despise fake people, fake (monogamous) men (but that's a whole other story, told over adult beverages) and especially fake frozen drinks, that claim to be made with lots of alcohol! But I do love me some fake hair, fake meat (Boca Crumbles anyone?) and fake (false) eyelashes. But when it comes to buying fake Christian Louboutin heels for my site, in the words of Whitney Houston, "Hell to the no!" I get lots of requests asking for a certain fake Louboutin heel. But as someone who used to design clothing and who has had their design integrity stolen, I cannot of good conscious, support the thievery of Mr. Louboutin's designs! There are hundreds of sites, actually using his name, claiming to sell authentic Louboutin heels. Nowadays, the new status symbol is that little red bottom, to go along with a little red, convertible, foreign sports car. But I refuse to support Team Fakes. It's way too easy to hike over to a big outlet of one of the designer department stores and get your hunt on for Red (bottom) October, at a dramatically reduced price.

For Team Copies: Now for those that can't afford the real deal designer heel, instead of buying a fake heel, buy yourself a less expensive, knock-off. Truth be told, most of the heels being made today, take their design cues from top designers. Just as they do with lower priced lines in clothing. Target and H & M have literally, re-branded themsleves with this modus operandi. But what is it about knock-off heels, that can be the proverbial Achilles Heel for some people? I've met women, who refuse to wear shoes that costs less than $100. They automatically assume, that a cheap price is synonymous with a cheap looking heel, i.e., unsteady construction, (god forbid) man made materials and gives a whole new meaning to the term, killa heels! Then there are those, that want to be fab so badly, that they're willing to spend more on a pair of Christian Louboutins (that they don't pronounce correctly), than they do in a month for their rent! Instead of, can you say Louboutin in French; can you say crazy in English? I mix the high with the low everyday and I love it! I'll carry my real Chanel bag (with money inside to still pay my bills) along with a pair of Jessica Simpson heels and a dress from Rainbow!

But because we live in a celebrity driven culture and girls are desperately trying to emulate their favorite celebs, know this, celebs rarely pay for all the designer garb they wear. It's given to them! Instead of copying their wardrobes, copy their money making skills and figure out what it is you need to do (lately the trend has been absolutely nothing), to get French designers to give you free heels as well!

Still undecided? I'm not-Brangelina all the way! :)

Cents, Sense & Sensible Shoes!

Hello Ms. Heel,
Fabulous shoe and heel lover you, hope you all had an amazing weekend-I did. Over the course of the weekend, several interesting questions arose about shoes.
  1. How much would you spend on a pair of shoes?
  2. Does it make sense to wear heels to a luau?
  3. What does it say about you or someone you know, who's always wearing sensible shoes?

Let's begin with the cents aspect of question #1: Pictured above is a sample of the $6500 Christian Louboutin "Marie Antoinette" heels. If you had money to burn, would you invest in these shoes? The most I have ever spent on shoes (actually it was boots), was $565 on a pair of Walter Steiger animal print ankle high boots from Bergdorf Goodman's. At the time, my now ex-husband threatened to divorce me. Can I just say, I'm glad he's gone and the boots are still in my possession. He got to keep his 401k, I got my shoe collection.

Secondly, sense; does it make sense to wear heels to a luau or any other place where it might involve beaches or bleachers? For me-hell yes it does! For others, it's complete nonsense! Well, I say every girl has to make that decision for herself.

Finally, sensibility; Are you the woman who always puts comfort over beauty? And even worse, constantly worried about what your girlfriend's are wearing on their own feet as well? I personally despise women like you-get a life and some non-sensible shoes! My girlfriend in Miami, refused this weekend to go dancing with a friend because she is the sensible shoe type. And is always questioning her about her heels, ("Can you walk in those?"). My girlfriends theory: women who wear sensible shoes (and under the age of 50 with healthy knees) are boring and apprehensive (probably insecure) about allowing that inner wild child out! Whatever your reasoning for always being that sensible shoe wearer, do you; stay in your (slow) lane and allow others to wear their non-sensible, expensive shoes to places like the beach!
