...And sadly, I had to find this out the hard way! I left my office yesterday in a rush to pick up my son. I had planned an awesome after school treat. Consisting of, hanging out at a cute local restaurant and then hitting the mall. What wasn't in my plans? Not getting dressed (well), wearing no make-up and a baseball hat to cover my bad hair day.

Needless to say, that's exactly how I left the office. And just as luck would have it, I'm sitting there @ the restaurant and a hot-ass dude comes through the door!! WTF...I barely make eye contact because I'm not feelin me some me!

Screw Shabby Chic-I looked like a SHABBY CHICK!!!

Ok Universe, I hear ya. Loud and clear! I'm a single chick, shabby should not be the way I describe myself, whenever I step my size 9.5's out the door!

I will follow the lead of my good gurlfriend, "The Diva"/make-up artist extraordinaire, who never leaves the house without a "made" face. Hell, I think she wears lashes everyday! But that's her calling card-her career, it makes sense. BTW, she's married.

But heels are my thang. So I am vowing to myself, to step up my game! A zest for life, a great ass and a luxury car, can get a gurl only so far...LOL! (Did I mention, I'm my biggest cheerleader and as you can see-biggest critic?) :)

Wow, what a weekend-chalk full of surprises and good times! This weekend I attended the Atlanta Shoe Market and boy did I find some really great heels, to add to the Ms.Heel.com collection. In addition, I partied Saturday night away with reps from some of my favorite lines.

In the pictures above, I am with the reps from Legend Shoes, Qupid Shoes and Liliana Shoes. We got together to celebrate the belated birthday of Howard, the Southeastern Representative for Qupid shoes, (he's wearing the black & white shirt). What a blast!

OMG Gurls, if you're ever in Atlanta or reside here, treat yourself to Eclipse di Luna, a tapas bar that has amazing food, drinks, music and atmosphere! There's nothing like a gathering of like-minded people with open hearts and minds.

And speaking of hearts, an old lover phoned me outta the blue. Not too many details, but B.A. (see blog, "A haunting in high heels"), I've missed you as well. We talked for two hours and it seemed like 15 minutes....what happened and got heartbroken in Miami, has to stay in Miami....right?
