EMMY REVIEW: Attack of the Soccer Moms!

Question, what's a smile turned upside down? That's right, it's a frown. Question # 2 smarty pants, what's wow turned upside down? Tick tock, tick tock...ok Miss Mensa Member, that's long enough. It's MOM! And that's exactly how all the actresses looked walking down the red carpet-like a bunch of damn suburban, soccer moms playing dress up at their husband's office Christmas party!

Hollywood, where was the "WOW" factor?

I was so surprised by all the boring dresses, unadorned necklines, overkill of chiffon, $250 blow-outs, pouty injected red lips and sensible (albeit) expensive ass heels-a complete waste and shameful displays of styling. Especially since we all know, most of these girls spent good money on over-priced, non creative, so-called Hollywood stylists! God, could we at least get a fashion mistake or an outrageous outfit from Cher, to keep us all from falling asleep! I'd much rather have completely awful-than boring and safe!

Note to self and the Emmy Academy, maybe if more nominees came from a bigger variety of programs and shows, maybe, just maybe, the red carpet would glow with a little more color (get it?), style and fashion trends from numerous backgrounds and cultures!

Hopefully next year, they won't all try to bend it like Beckham, but take fashion risks like Victoria Beckham!

RED CARPET GLAMOUR @ THE EMMY'S!

Hey Ms. Heel's,

Let's all play fashion stylist (and be just a little catty) while watching the Emmy's Red Carpet arrivals this Sunday, September 20th on CBS. Pre-shows are on on E! Network, TV Guide Channel and ABC. Besides the beautiful gowns, I'm looking to spot the most fab designer heels. In this recession, Hollywood style, let's see how many pairs of thousand dollar, Christian Louboutin's we see strutting down the red carpet.

And on Monday, we'll review and decide who was best dressed and most importanly-best heeled!
