Here's a pic of First Lady, Michelle Obama's feet painted blue! D.C. is totally trippin' over this choice of nail color. Really? Its just nail polish people. It's not as if she dyed her hair blue, walking around looking like Marge Simpson!
I love the fact that she's being adventurous and following the trends. Personally, First Ladies can sometimes try to hard to be dowdy and non-sexual.

While I admire anyone who maintains authenticity, the position of being First Lady, the President of the United States wife, comes with certain protocols.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the day, I think Michelle should be more cognizant of that and realize that this journery that she has been so blessed and priviledged to be a part of, is not about her, it's ALL about him. A problem that I am saddened to say, that not all, but far too many black women have a problem with.
I just wish she would relish in the fact that it's his time to shine and take a back seat to him and follow the status quo, just for the moment and put on some damn stocking and forsake the blue polish.
