Sugar Heel Gang!

It's that time of year girls...what time is it? Ooh, ooh, ahh,ahh ( A Morris Day & the Time reference)! I'm dating myself...ANYWAY, time to get your feet summer sandal and heel ready! Now in my opinion, the best way to do this is to go completely au naturel. I've been a vegetarian for about fifteen years now and I try desperately to be a vegan-God it's sooo hard! But one thing that's really important to me, is to make a conscious effort in not using unnecessary chemicals in my skincare regimen. Which also includes: what I put in my hair, what I brush my teeth with and what I use on my nails and feet. Below is my 'gang' of feet friendly, natural products to use, that you probably already have in your kitchen. Time to get your "Gangsta Green" and lean on!

For Sloughing and Sanitizing: Use high acidic fruit such as, lemon, limes & oranges along with a natural pumice stone. Rub feet (especially heels & other dry calloused areas) with slices of the fruit, followed by stone for a very smooth finish.

Foot Soak: Fill a pedicure tub with Milk. Yep, that's right, good ol' fashion cow's milk! Warm about a gallon of milk on the stove not microwave. Microwaves destroys nutrients. And soak feet for about half an hour. Since I don't drink it anymore, I discovered that it does have some good qualities-it is the perfect foot bath-a milk bath! Leaves feet very soft.

Leg & Foot Scrub: Use about 2 cups of organic cane sugar, mixed with about 4 tablespoons of cinnamon, 1/3 cup of raw and unfiltered honey and 1 and 1/2 cups of olive oil. Mix together and scrub your entire leg. Can I just say," WOW!!" This is the most delicious scrub you will ever use! Great to use before shaving for a very smooth shave. Plus legs will look shiny, silky and smooth after use, because of the dead skin cells that have been removed.

Germ & Fungus Treatment: Use organic, raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar! This is nature's little unknown natural antibiotic. Apple cider vinegar kills most germs! Soak feet in it for about 15 minutes. Great for athlete's foot, fungus growth on or underneath nail bed, foot odors and sweating. If apple cider vinegar is good enough for Cleopatra, it's good enough for modern day divas as well!

I encourage you all to check out each and every ingredient on the Internet to discover the benefits of using these items. Especially apple cider vinegar and cinnamon (two of my favorites). Trust me, they really work!
