Jamie Foxx recently threw his mother a birthday party in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at one of my favorite, relatively unknown fab haunts, Cafe Martorano! This little gem is not in South Beach, so a lot a people overlook the "cool factor" of this strip center restaurant. But how cool of a son is Jamie to help his Mom celebrate her special day? I luvv a man who takes the time to recognize the woman who raised and nurtured him...ladies, let's all take a page from Mama Foxx's book-and give the world better men! Do I sound bitter? Just a little.
Why the bitter sentiment? Because over the summer with my now ex-boyfriend, I visited the Las Vegas location of Cafe Martorano, to help him celebrate his birthday. This pic just brings back sooo many good and bad memories...TRUST ME, the world is in desperate need of real men who can completely comprehend the meaning of LOYALTY!
Is it too early to drink? Yeah...it is? Then can I have an Irish coffee?
p.s. don't drink and wear 5 inch heels while walking thru hotel lobbies in Las Vegas; tend to be very slick-that's what I "heard"...
