Dear Mo'Nique, LIFE IS TOO SHORT-DON'T LET THIS PRECIOUS MOMENT PASS YOU BY!
Rumor has it, that you are refusing to promote your much buzzed about performance in the new movie, Precious. All because of money. Now Ms. Heel knows not to believe everything one reads; but I personally haven't seen you on any of the major networks, talk shows or in major magazines, whispering anything about this movie. All I keep seeing are the bit players (whom none will be getting nominated for an Oscar), on the promo tour.
Ok here's my assessment: Oprah and Tyler do not seem to be stingy, money-grubbing folks. If this is about money, they (or studio) are holding out based on principal/contract. Two, you can win the battle, but lose the war. Hell-low... Oprah's on the Oscar voting committee-duh! And finally Mo'Nique, sweetie...I love you and your amazing spirit, please live in the moment-it's all we have. In your case, this is a PRECIOUS MOMENT! Do you really want to look back on this awesome time in your life and know that you didn't take this, once in a lifetime experience, completely in?
I'm going to say it again Mo'Nique, "Life is too short...wear heels (to all your interviews)!"
update: Mo'Nique gave an interview to HipHollywood.com at the Premiere Sunday-Hiphollywood???
Update: Ok, so I was wrong about Mo'Nique being the only one getting an Oscar nod, but I knew she would win. And yes, she did do more interviews. Congrats!
