The Higher the Heel-The lower the I.Q. (WTF!)

Recently, Victoria Beckham was on the View, and co-host, Joy Behar made the asinine comment that women who wear high heels, have a lower conscienceness. This isn't the exact quote, but she did use the words, "lower conscienceness." Give me a break Joy. Just because a woman chooses to wear heels, doesn't make her a bimbo! Can we say your pain-body reared it's ugly lil' red head? Jealous much?
Last week I was in D.C. and an old friend of mine (who I hadn't seen in a decade), delightfully informed me, that she was coming to see me that night and had specifically gone out and purchased some (and I quote), "Sum hooka shoes!" She knows that she can't hang with Ms. Hill and not be a Ms. Heel. I was expecting some Pamela Anderson, plexiglass, lucite inspired heels. Not so much; she arrived in a pair of Jessica Simpson, patent leather, open-toe pumps. Perfect for an IBM interview. We shared a good laugh, as I stood even taller (in my red satin, 5 1/2 inch stillettos! ). Moreover, this a girl with a masters degree in physical therapy-did she lower her I.Q. or did she just wanna have some fun and feel girly, sexy and fashionable for a night? You know my answer to this.
O.k. America (Joy), let's lighten up and give women a break. It's just a fashion statement. Women can be very well educated (think Michelle Obama, Oprah or Diane Sawyer), and love the look of high heels with their higher education degrees.
Try it on for size...
