Forget girls gone wild (that's sooo 2008); because now, not only have guys gone wild-but they've gone STYLED! Just when I was getting used to the term (and idea of) Metrosexual, along comes Adam Lambert (pictured); American Idol runner-up and shameless, proud user of eyeliner, aka, guyliner; colored nails with his weekly man-a-cures; and girls, please give Adam a warm welcome as our newest member- it's a pleasure, Ms (Mr?) Heel!
Help-I'm confused (or maybe they are)! Seal, Tommy Lee, Dennis Rodman and Dave Navarro all heterosexual (I guess), wear nail polish. Prince's ex Mayte said, that Prince has more heels than her-probably more than most women. And the number of rockers wearing eyeliner and mascara is growing daily. Well to each his own- eyeliner (that whole pinkeye thang)! I like my men rough around the edges with blue-collar working hands, big-ass feet (wink, wink) in flats and the only time I want to see make-up on him, is after a crazy, passionate night of lovemaking and my lipstick, foundation, mascara and eyeliner is all over him-because I was!
I guess I'm old school or hell... maybe just old. Because this new modern man is not for me. Sharing make-up, the mirror and manicures is NOT happening in my house. The only thing I want to share with my man is: a good cocktail, a checking account and a queen size bed-O my!
